Google AI Pro price by country: $17.25 in Indonesia to $27.07 in Norway

How much does Google AI Pro cost in each country?

Buyers in Norway pay 57% more than buyers in Indonesia for the same plan. And 27 of the 40 stores charge more than the US price. We read the plan's price in each App Store country on 12 October 2026 and converted it with a single exchange rate table from that day. Only eight stores came in under $19.99.

Apple sells the plan in the local money, and Google sets a price of its own for each store. Hungary (HUF 8,790, or $26.97) and South Africa (R429.99, or $26.05) come next after Norway. The UK's £18.99 is $25.13. The four big euro stores ask €21.99, which is $24.63. At the cheap end sit the Philippines (₱1,100, or $17.52), Turkey (₺869.99, or $17.63), Egypt (EGP 939.99, or $17.88) and Japan (¥2,900, or $18.31).

Some of the stores have no local price, so they bill you in US dollars. Sri Lanka, Argentina, Nepal and Kenya all pay USD 19.99, the US figure. Bangladesh has no App Store price at all. Apple runs no Bangladesh storefront, and its lookup API returns no Gemini listing there. Google's AI Pro country list does include Bangladesh, so you'd buy the plan through Google Play or Google's own site, at a price we couldn't read from outside Bangladesh.

Each row is the monthly Google AI Pro (5 TB) plan bought inside the Google Gemini app for iPhone, read from Apple's listing on 12 October 2026. The dollar column uses the Currency API rates for the same date.

Every row except the US and Canada already includes tax. Apple says so in its pricing talk for developers: "Prices advertised to customers in all countries except the U.S. and Canada include taxes." So the UK's £18.99 carries the UK's 20% VAT, while Canada's CA$26.99 gets sales tax added at checkout. We didn't read Google Play, which bills the Android app.

Is Google AI Pro cheaper than ChatGPT Plus and Claude Pro?

Yes, in most countries. We have App Store prices for all three plans in 28 of the same countries, read in October 2026. Google AI Pro was the cheapest of the three in 16 of them. It was the dearest in 5: Pakistan, Norway, Sweden, Australia and Thailand. All three columns are monthly App Store prices in local money. Google AI Pro was read on 12 October 2026, the other two a day earlier.

Most of the gaps are small. The one in Brazil isn't: Claude Pro asks R$129.90 there, which is 34% more than the R$96.90 that Google asks. Pakistan goes the other way. There, Google's Rs 5,600 is 14% above the Rs 4,900 that both of the others charge.

Hong Kong is the one store in our set where Apple sells Google AI Pro and our sibling pages found neither of the others. It costs HK$158 there, or $20.13. Apple showed no ChatGPT or Claude listing in Hong Kong when those pages checked.

Is Google AI Pro cheaper on Google's website or in the App Store?

Usually neither. In Canada, the one country where we read both on the same day, Google's plans page showed AI Pro at CA$26.99 a month on 12 October 2026. Canada's App Store asked CA$26.99 too.

Press reports give the App Store figure for Google's own site in five more countries, though each is older than our read. In April 2026 Tom's Guide put the US price at $19.99. In June 2025 TechRadar reported £18.99 in the UK and A$32.99 in Australia. A Japanese report of April 2026 gave ¥2,900, and TechCrunch gave ₹1,950 for India in December 2025. We left Pakistan out. Its web figure dates from April 2026, before Google's July increase there.

Google's annual plan costs about ten months of payments wherever we found one. TechRadar reported $199.99 a year in the US and £189.99 in the UK when Google added yearly billing in June 2025. That's about 17% off 12 monthly payments. The App Store shows the same pattern in South Korea (₩290,000 a year against ₩29,000 a month), Taiwan (NT$6,500 against NT$650) and Hong Kong (HK$1,588 against HK$158). Most other storefronts list only the monthly item.

Where you pay decides where you cancel. Apple bills a plan you bought in the Gemini app, so you stop it in your Apple account, not in Google One. How to cancel Google AI Pro covers every route, and Gemini payment methods lists what each channel accepts.

Did Google raise the Google AI Pro price in 2026?

Not in the US or Japan, but it did in five other countries. In April 2026 Google raised AI Pro's storage from 2 TB to 5 TB. Tom's Guide reported the plan was "staying at $19.99 per month" in the US. A Japanese report the same day said the price there stayed at ¥2,900.

Google's July 2026 notice is the one that matters for buyers in five countries: "Effective July 27, 2026, the price of Google One plans purchased from Google will increase in select countries and regions." The five are Algeria, Egypt, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey. App Store subscribers there paid the new monthly price from 23 August 2026. Google didn't publish the old or new figures. It says only that the increases vary by plan and currency.

Pakistan had moved before that. Pakistan Observer reported on 2 April 2026 that Google AI Pro cost about Rs 5,600 a month there. Apple listed the same Rs 5,600 in October, and Google hasn't said whether the July increase touched AI Pro in Pakistan. If you live in one of the five countries, don't trust a price on any page dated before August 2026.

Which countries can't buy Google AI Pro?

China and Russia can't buy Google AI Pro. Neither appears on Google's list of countries where AI Pro is supported, and the Gemini app's App Store page returned a not found error in both storefronts on 12 October 2026. Google's Gemini country list leaves Russia off too, and it names mainland China for Workspace accounts only.

You can use Gemini itself in more places than you can buy the paid plan. Google says the Gemini web app works in "over 230 countries and territories." Its plans page says "Google AI Pro is available in more than 150 countries and territories." The same page limits Google AI plans to people aged 18 and over.
