How much does SuperGrok cost in each country?
Buyers in Norway pay 58% more than buyers in Turkey for the same plan. That's $41.70 a month against $26.35. We read SuperGrok's price in 55 App Store countries on 12 October 2026 and converted each one with a single exchange rate table from that day. Only 10 stores came in under the US price of $30.
xAI sets its own price for each store, and Apple then bills it in the local money. Colombia comes right after Norway, at COP 129,900 or $40.72. Kenya, Nepal and Ukraine all pay USD 40, which is a third more than the US. Sweden (399 kr) and Hungary (HUF 12,990) land near $39.86, and the UK's £30 is $39.71. The 11 euro stores we read (Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain) all ask €35, which is $39.20. At the cheap end, the stores just above Turkey are Qatar (QAR 99.99, or $27.47), Indonesia (Rp 499,000, or $27.86) and New Zealand (NZ$50, or $28.01).
Each row is the monthly SuperGrok and SuperGrok Heavy purchase inside the Grok app for iPhone, read from Apple's listing on 12 October 2026. The dollar columns use the Currency API rates for the same date.

Every row except the US and Canada already includes tax. Apple says so in its pricing talk for developers: "Prices advertised to customers in all countries except the U.S. and Canada include taxes." So the UK's £30 carries the UK's 20% VAT, while Canada's CA$40 gets sales tax added at checkout. Peru's listing shows a second SuperGrok item at S/129.90 ($37.90), and we can't tell from outside Peru which one a new buyer sees. We didn't read Google Play, which bills the Android app.
Did the SuperGrok price increase in India?
Yes. xAI raised SuperGrok in India's App Store from ₹700 to ₹2,900 a month on 24 July 2026, a jump of 4.1 times. The yearly plan went from ₹6,500 to ₹29,000. The Internet Archive caught the change on the same day. Its 16:33 UTC snapshot still lists ₹700. The 18:42 UTC snapshot is the first to list ₹2,900, with the old ₹700 item still showing beside it. Today's listing shows only ₹2,900.
At the 12 October rate, the old price was worth just $7.31. Today's ₹2,900 is $30.29, which is about the same as the US price. SuperGrok Heavy didn't move. It was ₹29,900 before the change and it's ₹29,900 now, so Heavy went from about 43 times the SuperGrok price to about 10 times.
We didn't find any other store where the price had moved. Archive snapshots from June and July 2026 show the same prices as today in Pakistan (Rs 7,900), Turkey (₺1,299.99), Nigeria (₦49,900), Indonesia (Rp 499,000), the Philippines (₱1,790), Vietnam (799,000đ) and the UK (£30). A ₹700 figure on any page you read is from before 24 July.
How much is SuperGrok Heavy in each country?
SuperGrok Heavy costs $300 a month in the US, and on 12 October 2026 it ran from $238.81 in the Philippines (₱14,990) to $416.99 in Norway (3,990 kr). Most stores price Heavy at about 10 times their SuperGrok price. Three of them don't.
The Philippines asks ₱14,990, only 8.4 times its ₱1,790 SuperGrok. Kazakhstan asks 179,990₸, which is 12 times its 14,990₸. Brazil goes the furthest. Its Heavy costs R$1,999.90, which is 13.3 times its R$149.90 SuperGrok. So in Brazil you pay the US price for SuperGrok, but 34% more than the US for Heavy ($400.90).
xAI's own pricing page doesn't print a Heavy price. It only shows you SuperGrok at $30 and SuperGrok Plus at $100. The grok.com checkout is where you'll see it. Read from the US on 12 October 2026, it listed SuperGrok Lite at $10, SuperGrok at $30, SuperGrok Plus at $100 and SuperGrok Heavy at $300 a month.
Is SuperGrok more expensive than ChatGPT Plus in every country?
Yes. SuperGrok costs more than ChatGPT Plus in all 39 App Store countries where we have both prices, from 1.25 times as much in New Zealand to twice as much in Nepal. In the US it's 1.5 times: $30 against $19.99. Both prices are in the same local money, so the ratio needs no exchange rate. We read both apps' listings on 12 October 2026, and every ChatGPT Plus price matched our ChatGPT Plus price by country read of the day before.
Both columns are monthly App Store prices in local money, read on 12 October 2026.
| Country | SuperGrok | ChatGPT Plus | SuperGrok costs |

| Canada | CA$40 | CA$24.99 | 1.60 times as much |
| Nigeria | ₦49,900 | ₦31,500 | 1.58 times as much |

| United States | $30 | $19.99 | 1.50 times as much |
| United Kingdom | £30 | £19.99 | 1.50 times as much |
| Brazil | R$149.90 | R$99.90 | 1.50 times as much |
| India | ₹2,900 | ₹1,999 | 1.45 times as much |
| Indonesia | Rp 499,000 | Rp 349,000 | 1.43 times as much |
| Turkey | ₺1,299.99 | ₺999.99 | 1.30 times as much |
| Malaysia | RM129.90 | RM99.90 | 1.30 times as much |
| New Zealand | NZ$50 | NZ$39.99 | 1.25 times as much |
Nepal, Kenya and Ukraine stand out because all three stores bill in US dollars. In Kenya and Ukraine OpenAI asks US$22.99 for Plus, and in Nepal it asks US$19.99. xAI asks all three of them for USD 40. Sri Lanka and Argentina, the other two dollar stores we read, pay USD 30 for SuperGrok, the US figure. SuperGrok vs ChatGPT Plus covers what the extra $10 buys in the US.
Is SuperGrok cheaper with a yearly plan or on the website?
The yearly plan is cheaper. In 54 of the 55 stores we read, it costs about the same as 10 monthly payments, which is roughly 17% off paying month by month. The US App Store lists SuperGrok at $300 a year, India at ₹29,000, Brazil at R$1,499.90 and the euro stores at €349. The Philippines is the exception. Its yearly plan is ₱14,990, only 8.4 monthly payments, so a year there costs 30% less than paying monthly.
We could only read the website from the US. There, grok.com charges the same $30 a month as the App Store, with a "Save with annual" option. We couldn't see what grok.com charges in other countries without being in them, so the App Store is the only per country price on this page.
X sells SuperGrok too, inside its own plan. X's help page says Premium+ "Starts at $40/month or $395/year on web" and lists SuperGrok access among its benefits. That's $10 a month more than SuperGrok alone in the US, with an ad-free X on top. SuperGrok Heavy works the other way round: grok.com says it comes with X Premium+ at no extra cost. Grok also has a $0 tier: xAI's pricing page lists Free beside SuperGrok, so every price on this page buys an upgrade, not access.
Where you pay decides where you cancel. A plan bought in the iPhone app belongs to Apple, and xAI's Grok FAQ says "Apple handles all refunds for purchases made through the App Store." How to cancel SuperGrok covers grok.com, the app stores and X Premium.
Which countries can't buy SuperGrok in the App Store?
China and Russia can't. When we opened the Grok app's App Store page in both of those storefronts on 12 October 2026, it returned a not found error. Bangladesh has no Apple storefront at all: the bd link opens the US listing, and Apple's lookup API returns no Grok app there. Hong Kong is the opposite case. Apple sells SuperGrok there for HK$228 ($29.05), while our ChatGPT Plus read found no ChatGPT listing in Hong Kong at all.
If you're pricing SuperGrok for the Grok model in chat, Whizi Pro costs $29.99 a month and includes two Grok models at 6 credits a message, next to Claude Opus and ChatGPT Sol (Grok in Whizi). Imagine video, live X search and Grok Bot are xAI's own features, so you'd still need SuperGrok for those.
- Find your country in the table and note the date: xAI can change a store price with no notice, as it did in India on 24 July 2026
- Compare with tax included: App Store prices carry tax everywhere except the US and Canada
- Pay yearly only if you'll keep the plan a year: it costs about ten monthly payments, or 8.4 in the Philippines
- Check the Heavy row separately, since Brazil, Kazakhstan and the Philippines break the ten times pattern
- Subscribe where you'll manage the plan, because an App Store plan is cancelled and refunded through Apple
