Google AI Plus price in 59 countries: $4.05 in Turkey to $6.93 in the Czech Republic

How much does Google AI Plus cost in each country?

Most App Store countries charge more for Google AI Plus than the US does. Of the 58 we read, 36 sit above $4.99. Only 10 sit below it. A buyer in the Czech Republic pays 71% more than a buyer in Turkey for the same plan. We read each store on 18 October 2026 and converted all of them with one rate table from that day.

Apple sells the plan in local money, and Google sets a separate price for each store. Norway and South Africa come next after the Czech Republic, and Colombia is fourth at COP 19,900. The UK's £4.49 is $5.98. All eight euro stores we read ask €4.99, which is $5.61. At the cheap end sit Turkey (₺199.99), Indonesia (Rp 75,000) and India (₹399). All three come in under $4.21.

Eleven stores bill you in US dollars, and each of them asks USD 4.99. That's the US figure. They include Sri Lanka, Nepal, Kenya and Argentina, and the table below lists all eleven. Bangladesh has no App Store price at all. Apple runs no Bangladesh storefront, and its lookup API returns no Gemini listing there. Google's own Bangladesh plans page shows ৳600 a month, which is $4.86.

Each row is the monthly Google AI Plus (400 GB) item in the purchase list of Apple's Google Gemini listing, read for each country on 18 October 2026. The dollar column uses the Currency API rates for the same date.

Every row except the US and Canada already includes tax. Apple says so in its pricing talk for developers: "Prices advertised to customers in all countries except the U.S. and Canada include taxes." So the UK's £4.49 has VAT inside it, and Canada's CA$6.99 gets sales tax added at checkout. Canada's store still names the item "Google AI Plus (200GB)", though Google's Canadian plans page lists 400 GB at the same CA$6.99. We didn't read Google Play, which bills the Android app. Its prices may differ.

Which country has the cheapest Google AI Plus?

Turkey has the cheapest Google AI Plus, at ₺199.99 a month, or $4.05 on 18 October 2026. Indonesia is second at Rp 75,000 ($4.15), and India is third at ₹399 ($4.20). The Czech Republic is the dearest store, at 149.99 Kč ($6.93). That's 71% more than in Turkey.

Turkey is also one of five countries where Google raised prices in July 2026. Google's July 2026 notice says "the price of Google One plans purchased from Google will increase in select countries and regions" from 27 July 2026. It names Algeria, Egypt, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey. Google didn't publish the old or new figures, and the notice doesn't say which plans moved. Both Google's Turkish page and Apple's Turkish store showed ₺199.99 in October.

Google AI Plus costs between 20% and 29% of Google AI Pro in the nine stores where we noted both prices. India sits at the low end: ₹399 against ₹1,950, or 20%. Switzerland sits at the top, with CHF 5.00 against CHF 17.00, or 29%. In the US it's 25%, $4.99 against $19.99, and the UK, Japan, Norway, Kenya, Canada and the Czech Republic all land between 23% and 27%. Is Google AI Plus cheaper on Google's website or in the App Store?

Usually it costs the same in both. We read Google's own plans page for 31 countries on 18 October 2026, and 24 of them matched the App Store to the cent. Five of the six that didn't are countries where Apple bills in US dollars. Google bills them in local money instead.

Google's price comes from its regional plans page for each country, such as the Kenya page, read on 18 October 2026 and converted at the same rates as the main table.

Kenya is the clearest case. Google's Kenyan page asks KES 900, which is $6.93 and ties the Czech Republic for the dearest price we found anywhere. Apple sells Kenyans the same plan for USD 4.99. The other 24 we read all matched, from the US and the UK to India, Pakistan and Brazil. If you're in one of them, it doesn't matter where you buy.

Where you pay decides where you cancel. Apple bills a plan you bought in the Gemini app for iPhone, so you stop it in your Apple account, not in Google One. Gemini payment methods lists what Google's own checkout accepts.

Is there a yearly Google AI Plus plan?

Yes, in some stores, and a year costs about ten monthly payments. Google's AI Plus help page says "You can choose between a monthly or annual membership plan for Google AI Plus." Apple listed a yearly item in 16 of the 58 stores we read. Japan asks ¥7,200 a year against ¥720 a month. Australia asks A$79.99 against A$7.99, and Canada asks CA$69.99 against CA$6.99. Italy's €49.99 was the only yearly euro price we saw.

That works out to about 17% off twelve monthly payments, or 15% in Hong Kong, where a year is HK$388. Apple shows only ten purchase items on each listing, though, so a store with no yearly line may still sell one. The US has no yearly price. Neither Apple's US listing nor Google's US page showed one.

Google also sells a 2 TB version of the plan. The same help page says "Choose from 400 GB or 2 TB of storage." Apple listed "Google AI Plus (2 TB)" in 18 of the stores we read, at 1.8 to 2 times the 400 GB price. In Germany, for example, it's €9.99 a month, and in Pakistan it's Rs 2,800. Brazil asks R$49.99 for it.

Did the Google AI Plus price go down in 2026?

Yes, in the US. Google cut Google AI Plus from $7.99 to $4.99 a month on 8 June 2026 and doubled its storage from 200 GB to 400 GB. Vikas Kansal, Google's product lead for Gemini AI subscriptions, posted: "We're updating the price of our Google AI Plus plan to $4.99/mo." Engadget carried the post that day. Google had launched the plan in the US on 27 January 2026 at "$7.99/month."

Asia's launch prices didn't move. Google opened AI Plus in Indonesia first, on 4 September 2025, at "Rp75.000 per bulan" with 200 GB, its Indonesian blog said. India got it on 10 December 2025 at ₹399 a month, with ₹199 for the first six months, TechCrunch reported. Both stores asked the same prices on 18 October 2026, now with 400 GB. So the June cut lowered the US price, not theirs. Indonesia and India still pay less than the US does, and they did before the cut as well.

If you live in one of the five countries in Google's July increase, check the price at checkout. Apple's monthly renewals there took the new price from 23 August 2026, so don't trust a figure that's dated before then.

Which countries can't buy Google AI Plus?

China and Russia can't buy Google AI Plus. Neither is on Google's list of 168 countries and territories where the plan is available, and the Gemini app's App Store page returned a not found error in both storefronts on 18 October 2026. Iran, Cuba, North Korea and Belarus aren't on it either, and nor are Myanmar, Ethiopia or Montenegro. Hong Kong and Macau are listed.

Google's plans page rounds the count down: "Google AI Plus is available in more than 160 countries." The same page limits Google AI plans to people aged 18 and over, and the help page says you must live in a listed country. That's six times the US price of Google AI Plus. It suits people who already pay for Gemini and a second assistant, not someone hunting for the cheapest Gemini plan.
